Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with 100% accuracy and strict adherence to federal regulations
- Coordinate cross-functional projects between VA medical, benefits, and legal departments
- Implement and maintain digital record-keeping systems in accordance with federal protocols
- Conduct quality assurance audits of administrative documentation packages
- Serve as primary liaison for veteran inquiries regarding benefit status
- Prepare executive reports and correspondence for senior leadership review
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years federal administrative experience or equivalent GS-level qualifications
- Proficient in VA-specific systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain immediately
- Knowledge of 38 CFR regulations governing veteran benefits
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-volume environment
- Experience with FOIA requests and privacy act compliance
