Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit applications with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate multi-departmental projects using federal compliance standards
- Maintain secure electronic records per VA regulations
- Provide exceptional service to veteran inquiries via phone/email
- Analyze operational data to improve service delivery metrics
- Train staff on federal policies and procedural updates
- Prepare congressional correspondence and executive reports
- Support facility security protocols and emergency preparedness
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years federal administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- VA records management certification preferred
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Experience with federal grant processing systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
