What You Will Do:
In this role, you will be the backbone of our administrative operations, ensuring smooth office functions and compliance with federal standards. You will work closely with leadership to support daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Record Management: Organize, maintain, and secure confidential federal records and personnel files in compliance with strict regulations.
- Communication Hub: Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and callers, managing correspondence with professionalism and efficiency.
- Office Coordination: Schedule appointments, coordinate travel arrangements, and assist in planning agency events and meetings.
- Reporting: Prepare high-quality reports, memos, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite for senior management review.
- Timekeeping: Accurately process timecards, leave requests, and expense reports for the department.
- Support Services: Assist with procurement requests and inventory management for office supplies.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a federal security clearance.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's in Business Administration is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience, preferably within a government or corporate setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and standard office equipment.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Must be available to work a set part-time schedule (e.g., 20-25 hours per week).
