Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume correspondence, including emails, letters, and inquiries, ensuring all responses adhere to federal regulations and timelines.
- Coordinate complex calendars for senior leadership, scheduling meetings and preparing briefing materials.
- Maintain and organize confidential records and filing systems in compliance with strict government standards.
- Prepare, proofread, and edit official documents, reports, and presentations for internal and external distribution.
- Assist with human resources functions, including recruitment support, onboarding new federal employees, and processing personnel actions.
- Conduct research and gather data to support agency programs and policy initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative experience in a government, legal, or corporate setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and federal case management software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to regulatory compliance standards.
- Experience with federal travel regulations and expense reporting is preferred.
