Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of federal policies and regulations to support decision-making processes.
- Manage and coordinate inter-agency communications and ensure compliance with all federal administrative mandates.
- Prepare high-level briefing documents, memos, and presentations for senior leadership and congressional staff.
- Oversee the lifecycle of federal grant programs, including allocation, reporting, and auditing requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and databases for departmental projects, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and internal training sessions on administrative procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a federal, state, or local government administrative role.
- Strong understanding of federal procurement rules, budgeting processes, and compliance standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and government-specific case management software.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
