Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit claims processing with 95% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-departmental communications and documentation
- Utilize federal systems (VBA, VBMS) for data entry and reporting
- Conduct quality assurance reviews for compliance with federal regulations
- Provide direct support to veterans and their families through case management
- Prepare official correspondence and reports for leadership review
- Train new staff on federal protocols and VA procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 3 years administrative experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Experience with federal compliance standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
