Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with 99% accuracy and strict adherence to federal regulations
- Coordinate multi-departmental communications for veteran outreach initiatives
- Manage confidential veteran records using VA-approved digital systems
- Conduct eligibility screenings for federal healthcare programs
- Prepare weekly performance reports for senior leadership review
- Support veteran events including health fairs and community outreach
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and VA privacy standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in federal/government setting
- Proficient in VA-specific systems (Vista, VistA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
- Experience with veteran/military community highly valued
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- US citizenship required
