Responsibilities
- Administer federal employee benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and life insurance
- Provide expert guidance on TSP (Thrift Savings Plan) enrollment and optimization
- Process disability claims and workers' compensation applications
- Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new federal employees
- Maintain compliance with OPM (Office of Personnel Management) regulations
- Collaborate with HR teams on benefits policy implementation
- Analyze benefits data to improve program efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal benefits administration experience
- Current Federal Benefits Specialist (FBS) certification preferred
- Expertise in FEGLI, FSA, and TSP regulations
- Strong analytical skills with benefits software proficiency
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement
