Responsibilities
- Evaluate and process veterans' disability claims with 100% accuracy
- Conduct thorough medical record reviews and benefit eligibility assessments
- Collaborate with medical professionals and legal teams on complex cases
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations (38 CFR)
- Provide clear communication to claimants regarding status and requirements
- Utilize VA systems (VBMS, VBA) for documentation and case management
- Train new examiners on federal compliance protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in claims processing or federal benefits administration
- Proficiency in VA systems and federal regulations (38 CFR)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Valid U.S. security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience working with veteran populations preferred
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software
- US citizenship required
