Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' disability claims with precision and adherence to federal regulations
- Review medical evidence and supporting documentation to determine claim eligibility
- Communicate with veterans, medical providers, and legal representatives regarding claim status
- Maintain accurate records in the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS)
- Collaborate with senior processors to resolve complex claim discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with 38 CFR and VA policy guidelines
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Minimum 2 years claims processing or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- VA experience or knowledge of federal claims procedures preferred
