Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and inform policy decisions
- Develop and implement community health outreach programs targeting underserved populations
- Collaborate with local health departments, NGOs, and community leaders on health initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for state legislators and public health leadership
- Monitor compliance with state and federal public health regulations
- Manage grant-funded projects supporting Detroit's health equity goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public health analysis or program coordination experience
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong knowledge of Michigan public health regulations and frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse communities and stakeholders
- Valid Michigan driver's license (if travel required)
