Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' disability claims with 99% accuracy
- Review medical records and supporting documentation for completeness
- Apply federal regulations (38 CFR) to determine benefit eligibility
- Communicate claim status updates to veterans via VA systems
- Collaborate with medical examiners and legal teams on complex cases
- Maintain confidential case files in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Generate weekly performance reports for quality assurance
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years administrative processing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and VA systems
- Knowledge of federal claims processing procedures
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Valid state driver's license
- Pass federal background investigation
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
