Responsibilities
- Review and process veteran benefit claims with 99% accuracy
- Collaborate with legal teams to resolve complex eligibility disputes
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations (38 CFR)
- Utilize VA systems (VBMS, VBA) for documentation and tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of peer submissions
- Train new staff on claims processing protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 3 years federal claims processing experience
- Proficiency in VA systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- VA Form 2850 (Application for Federal Employment) submitted
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Knowledge of 38 CFR Title 38 regulations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
