Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' disability claims with 98% accuracy
- Conduct comprehensive eligibility assessments for VA benefits programs
- Provide expert guidance to veterans and their families on benefits options
- Collaborate with medical professionals to develop evidence-based claims decisions
- Maintain confidential case files in compliance with federal regulations
- Represent the VA at community outreach events and informational sessions
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and federal security clearance eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- 3+ years experience in claims processing or veteran services
- Proficiency with VA systems (VBMS, VBA-Net)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Knowledge of Title 38 U.S.C. regulations
