Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations (VA, OMB, and DoD) across all departmental operations
- Conduct comprehensive audits of compliance systems and identify corrective action plans
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for 100+ staff members
- Collaborate with legal teams to interpret regulatory changes and update departmental policies
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership and federal oversight bodies
- Manage vendor contracts and ensure third-party partners meet federal security standards
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to embed compliance into daily workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of federal compliance or regulatory experience
- Active Federal Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Expertise in VA regulations, FAR, and DFARS compliance frameworks
- Professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CFCM, or similar) strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in compliance management software (e.g., RSA Archer, LogicGate)
- Demonstrated experience with federal grant management and reporting requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to interpret complex regulatory documents
