Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal regulations (VA, HIPAA, OSHA) across medical facilities
- Conduct comprehensive compliance audits and risk assessments
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified violations
- Coordinate with legal teams to ensure policy alignment with federal statutes
- Train staff on compliance protocols and regulatory updates
- Prepare detailed reports for leadership and regulatory bodies
- Stay current with evolving federal healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Law, or related field
- 3+ years' experience in federal compliance or healthcare regulation
- Expert knowledge of VA, HIPAA, and CMS regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with compliance management software (e.g., LogicGate, Diligent)
