Responsibilities
- Provide direct veteran support services during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Manage emergency response protocols and critical incident documentation
- Coordinate with on-call medical staff for urgent care coordination
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and secure data systems
- Conduct weekend facility safety inspections and compliance audits
- Process veteran benefits applications with 100% accuracy
- Lead cross-departmental weekend staff briefings
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance
- Minimum 2 years federal or healthcare experience
- VA Form 10-2850 application completed
- Weekend availability mandatory (6AM-6PM shifts)
- Proficiency in VistE and Veterans Health Information Systems
- BLS/CPR certification (within 30 days of hire)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Spanish bilingual preferred
