Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations and DHS compliance standards across assigned infrastructure projects
- Conduct comprehensive audits and risk assessments for security protocols
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for compliance deficiencies
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to harmonize federal security requirements
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership and congressional committees
- Train personnel on federal regulatory updates and best practices
- Monitor emerging threats and adjust compliance frameworks accordingly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of federal compliance experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and audit software
- Expert knowledge of DHS, FEMA, and TSA regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to obtain and maintain government-issued credentials
- Experience with federal procurement and contract compliance
