Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, VA directives)
- Conduct compliance audits and corrective action planning
- Develop training programs for regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with legal and medical departments on policy updates
- Prepare reports for OMB and congressional inquiries
- Manage vendor contracts for regulatory adherence
- Lead cross-functional compliance committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare, or related field
- 3+ years federal compliance experience
- Active VA or federal security clearance
- Knowledge of 38 CFR and OMB guidelines
- Certified Healthcare Compliance Officer (CHCO) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in regulatory tracking software
- Experience with healthcare data privacy protocols
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
