Responsibilities
- Analyze and implement federal healthcare compliance policies (HIPAA, VA directives)
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for regulatory adherence
- Develop compliance training programs for medical staff and administrators
- Coordinate with OIG and regulatory agencies during investigations
- Maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities
- Lead process improvements to reduce compliance gaps
- Stay current on evolving federal healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of compliance experience in federal or regulated healthcare
- Knowledge of HIPAA, VA regulations, and CMS guidelines
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Federal security clearance eligibility
- Experience with compliance management software (e.g., LogicGate, Navex)
