Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal healthcare regulations including HIPAA and VA compliance standards
- Conduct comprehensive audits of medical facilities and documentation systems
- Develop corrective action plans for compliance deficiencies
- Collaborate with legal teams to interpret regulatory changes
- Train staff on updated compliance protocols and procedures
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Coordinate with external regulatory agencies during inspections
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of federal compliance experience in healthcare
- VA or federal healthcare facility familiarity preferred
- Proficiency in compliance management software (e.g., FedTrack)
- Active Secret security clearance
- Knowledge of 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA regulations
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
