Responsibilities
- Analyze and implement federal regulatory compliance requirements for veteran benefit programs
- Conduct audits and risk assessments across departmental operations
- Develop compliance training materials for staff nationwide
- Prepare detailed reports for congressional oversight committees
- Coordinate with DOJ and OIG on regulatory investigations
- Update internal policies to align with new federal legislation
- Lead cross-functional compliance improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years federal compliance/regulatory experience
- Active Secret security clearance
- Expertise in FAR and DFARS regulations
- Advanced data analysis skills with SQL/Excel
- Experience with federal grant management systems
- VA-specific program knowledge highly desirable
