Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal compliance protocols for border security operations
- Conduct comprehensive audits of agency practices against federal regulations
- Coordinate with DHS, CBP, and DOJ on compliance enforcement initiatives
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership and congressional oversight
- Train personnel on federal regulatory requirements and ethical standards
- Monitor emerging legislation and update compliance frameworks accordingly
- Manage compliance documentation systems for audit readiness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal compliance or regulatory experience
- Active Secret security clearance with eligibility for Top Secret
- Proficiency in federal regulatory frameworks (CFR, DHS directives)
- Advanced knowledge of immigration law and border security protocols
- Certified Federal Compliance Officer (CFCO) preferred
- Experience with audit software (e.g., ACL, IDEA)
- Ability to obtain and maintain government-issued credentials
