Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal regulations (VA, HIPAA, OSHA)
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across departments
- Develop corrective action plans for non-compliance issues
- Train staff on policy updates and regulatory changes
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies
- Maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities
- Report findings to senior leadership and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of federal compliance or regulatory experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Proficiency in VA systems (VISTA, CPRS)
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, and Joint Commission standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
