Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations (FAR, DFARS) across all departmental operations
- Conduct comprehensive compliance audits and risk assessments
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for 200+ personnel
- Collaborate with legal counsel on regulatory updates and policy changes
- Manage documentation systems for audit trails and compliance records
- Represent the department in interagency compliance committees
- Lead cross-functional projects to streamline compliance processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years federal compliance experience with DOD or similar agency
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret required within 90 days)
- Expert knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal acquisition regulations
- Proficient in GSA Advantage and SAM.gov systems
- Strong analytical skills with experience in regulatory impact analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
