Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend compliance audits for veteran benefit programs
- Review and validate documentation against federal regulations (38 CFR, 5 CFR)
- Coordinate with regional offices for weekend operational support
- Generate weekly compliance reports for leadership review
- Implement corrective actions for identified regulatory gaps
- Train weekend staff on compliance protocols
- Maintain secure weekend audit documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years federal compliance or regulatory experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of VA benefits programs (desired)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Experience with federal reporting systems (e.g., MAX)
