Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal healthcare compliance regulations including HIPAA, VA policies, and OMB directives
- Conduct regular audits of medical documentation and billing processes
- Develop compliance training materials for staff across 15+ facilities
- Collaborate with legal teams to investigate regulatory violations
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for senior leadership
- Stay updated on federal policy changes through continuous education
- Coordinate with state agencies on cross-jurisdictional compliance matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of federal compliance experience in healthcare or public sector
- Active certification in Federal Compliance (e.g., CFCO) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency with VA systems and federal reporting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory details
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
