Responsibilities
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation and award to closeout, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Federal Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS, and agency-specific policies to mitigate risk and ensure audit readiness.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and review complex contract documents, statements of work (SOWs), and modification proposals with precision.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and federal clients, translating technical contract terms into clear, actionable insights.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential compliance issues and implement proactive solutions to maintain high operational standards.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal contract management, government contracting, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations and government acquisition processes.
- Remote Work Readiness: Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong self-discipline and communication skills.
