Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility regulations to maintain security
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of living areas, work sites, and common spaces
- Respond to emergencies, incidents, and medical situations with appropriate protocols
- Document daily observations, incidents, and inmate behavior in detailed reports
- Screen visitors and incoming mail/packages to prevent contraband introduction
- Participate in training programs to maintain certification and update skills
- Collaborate with law enforcement and correctional teams during emergency operations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of correctional, military, or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass background investigation and medical fitness evaluation
