Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and mitigate cyber threats against federal networks using SIEM tools
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Develop and implement zero-trust security frameworks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Prepare detailed threat intelligence reports for senior leadership
- Collaborate with cross-agency cybersecurity task forces
- Maintain compliance with NIST and FISMA security standards
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal cybersecurity operations
- GIAC GCIH or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure cloud security architecture
- Knowledge of CMMC frameworks and DOD systems
- Experience with Splunk and CrowdStrike security tools
- Demonstrated ability to handle classified data
