Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and mitigate cybersecurity threats using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach containment activities
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement NIST-compliant security controls
- Prepare detailed threat intelligence reports for senior leadership
- Train federal staff on cybersecurity best practices and policy compliance
- Manage security access controls and user authentication protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Active Security Clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
