Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for security threats using SIEM platforms
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents and coordinate mitigation efforts
- Implement and maintain security controls for federal information systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and security documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
- Stay current with emerging threats and defense technologies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Splunk, Wireshark)
- Experience with NIST frameworks and FISMA compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
