Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal networks to identify security gaps.
- Implement and manage security controls to ensure compliance with NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- Monitor network traffic and systems for suspicious activity, responding to incidents in real-time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports on security status, risks, and remediation efforts for senior leadership.
- Maintain and update incident response plans to adapt to evolving cyber threats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal cybersecurity or information assurance.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
