Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activities and potential security breaches.
- Implement and enforce security policies in accordance with FedRAMP and NIST standards.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems.
- Respond to and remediate cybersecurity incidents in a timely manner.
- Manage access control lists and user authentication protocols.
- Document security configurations and maintain audit trails for federal compliance.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance required (or ability to obtain).
- BS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (4 years experience can substitute).
- Certification: CISSP, Security+, or GSEC preferred.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
