Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the security, integrity, and availability of state network systems.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for internal government staff via remote channels.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal (FISMA) and state cybersecurity regulations.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable IT solutions.
- Document technical processes and maintain up-to-date standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Must be a US Citizen and eligible for a Public Trust Security Clearance.
- Strong proficiency in network protocols, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and database management.
- Proven ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
