We are actively recruiting a Federal Cybersecurity Analyst to support critical defense missions in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities
- Perform routine security assessments and vulnerability scanning on federal networks.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents to mitigate threats in real-time.
- Enforce security policies and compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and FISMA regulations.
- Manage user access controls and identity management protocols.
- Document security configurations and maintain detailed audit logs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to harden systems against cyber-attacks.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Interim Secret.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in federal information systems security.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
- Strong knowledge of the DoD Information Assurance (IA) Technical Reference Model.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for briefings and reporting.
