Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal networks.
- Implement and maintain security protocols in compliance with NIST and FISMA standards.
- Monitor system logs and security alerts to detect and respond to potential cyber threats in real-time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed reports for federal oversight bodies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certification: CompTIA Security+ or CISSP is preferred; Active Top Secret clearance is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Strong knowledge of network security architectures and threat detection methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to executive stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
