Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats across federal networks
- Implement and maintain security protocols including NIST frameworks and FISMA compliance
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Train federal employees on cybersecurity best practices
- Manage security audits and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Active DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain Top Secret)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight)
- Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FISMA, RMF)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- U.S. citizenship required
