Our Detroit office leads regional cybersecurity initiatives for critical infrastructure protection. This role requires immediate deployment to address emerging threats and system vulnerabilities. U.S. citizenship is mandatory, and selected candidates will undergo federal background clearance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Develop and implement advanced intrusion detection protocols
- Coordinate incident response for cyber threats affecting national security
- Lead security audits for compliance with federal NIST standards
- Maintain and optimize SIEM infrastructure for real-time threat monitoring
- Train federal staff on cybersecurity best practices and protocols
- Collaborate with FBI, NSA, and other federal agencies on threat intelligence
Qualifications
- Active U.S. security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal cybersecurity operations
- GIAC GSEC or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in network security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, Cisco)
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 security controls
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) environments
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
