Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity incident response and threat analysis for federal systems
- Implement NIST compliance frameworks and security protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop cybersecurity training programs for federal personnel
- Coordinate with CISA and other federal agencies on threat intelligence
- Manage identity and access control systems (IAM)
- Prepare compliance reports for OMB and congressional oversight
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification
- Expert knowledge of FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, and FedRAMP
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight) and threat detection
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
