Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Develop and implement incident response protocols for cyber threats
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and triage incidents
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA security standards
- Create cybersecurity training programs for federal personnel
- Lead security awareness campaigns across organizational departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal or enterprise cybersecurity
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners
- Knowledge of FedRAMP and CMMC compliance frameworks
- Secret security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret)
