Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain federal cybersecurity frameworks including NIST 800-53 and FISMA
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Develop incident response protocols for cyber-attack scenarios
- Collaborate with cross-agency partners on threat intelligence sharing
- Maintain compliance with federal data protection regulations
- Lead security awareness training for federal employees
- Monitor network traffic for anomalous activity using SIEM tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience in federal or regulated environment
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency with security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike
- Knowledge of federal IT security policies and procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance
