Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT systems including cloud platforms and network infrastructure
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier 3 technical support to resolve complex system issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and compliance audits
- Document system configurations and incident reports per federal standards
- Train staff on security best practices and new technologies
- Ensure 99.9% system uptime through proactive monitoring and maintenance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure, Cisco networking, and Windows Server environments
- Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity frameworks and FISMA compliance
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote setting
