Responsibilities
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for federal systems
- Implement and maintain advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Develop incident response protocols for cyber threats
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams on national security initiatives
- Ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA security frameworks
- Mentor junior cybersecurity professionals
- Conduct security awareness training for federal personnel
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP certifications
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Knowledge of federal security protocols (FISMA, NIST)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
