Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats across federal systems
- Implement NIST cybersecurity frameworks and compliance protocols
- Lead incident response coordination for critical infrastructure protection
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal personnel
- Collaborate with FBI, DHS, and other federal agencies on threat intelligence
- Manage security operations center (SOC) protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DHS security clearance
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with federal/government experience
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or GIAC certification
- Expertise in network security, incident response, and threat analysis
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and security automation
- Strong understanding of FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, and CMMC standards
