Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure federal information systems and databases in compliance with strict government regulations.
- Conduct system analysis to identify operational inefficiencies and implement technical solutions that enhance productivity.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime for critical applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal cybersecurity protocols and data privacy laws.
- Document technical processes and create training materials for internal staff.
- Participate in system upgrades and major IT initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis or IT support within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Experience with federal IT systems, such as FedRAMP compliance or legacy mainframe technologies.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, C#) and database management systems (SQL, Oracle).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Background Investigation (Secret or Top Secret clearance).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
