Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain advanced cybersecurity protocols for DoD networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools and respond to incidents within SLA
- Develop and document security policies compliant with NIST and FISMA standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into new infrastructure
- Train personnel on cybersecurity best practices and threat awareness
- Manage incident response procedures during security breaches
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in network security or incident response
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and penetration testing
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and RMF frameworks
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for federal employment
