Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions and system specifications.
- Design, develop, and maintain database schemas, APIs, and backend systems using modern technologies.
- Conduct system performance tuning, testing, and debugging to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations and data privacy laws.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams and user manuals.
- Lead code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior analysts and developers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software development, or a similar technical role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, JavaScript, and at least one major framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Node.js).
- Experience working within a government or highly regulated industry environment is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
