Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced cybersecurity protocols to protect federal networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Lead incident response operations for cyber threats and security breaches
- Collaborate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Maintain compliance with NIST and FISMA security standards
- Mentor junior cybersecurity analysts and document security procedures
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident response
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- Certifications in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expert knowledge of network security tools and protocols
- Experience with federal IT security frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
