Responsibilities
- Monitor and defend federal networks against cyber threats using advanced SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Implement NIST and FISMA compliance frameworks across DoD networks
- Lead incident response for security breaches and cyberattacks
- Collaborate with FBI, NSA, and CISA on threat intelligence sharing
- Develop cybersecurity policies and training programs for federal employees
- Manage encryption protocols and zero-trust architecture deployments
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance (mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal cybersecurity roles
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network defense
- Knowledge of CMMC and FedRAMP standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance
